Buddycloud

Doing business in Munich is great: There's an efficient infrastructure, a good VC industry and lots of other tech companies in the area to bounce ideas off.

And Oktoberfest.

People try to swing Oktoberfest as a way to meet other business colleagues but really it's just an excuse to drink beer.  And that's if an excuse was ever needed.

So we have come up with our own excuse.  We will be testing Buddycloud's "Location Butler" accuracy this year.  We want to make sure that we can, without a GPS, locate eachother from one beer tent to the next.  Ideally Buddycloud will show that Ross is at Schutzenfestzelt and I am at Schottenhammel. Makes drinking much more efficient. And it's an interesting test: Because so many people will be in such a small area, the mobile operators draft in temporary cell towers.  Buddycloud is designed to use these in the positioning mix. Now we will test some of our assumptions.

So consider that our excuse for attending Oktoberfest. Tezsting th beer, I mean testinnnng theee positionnnnn. Hic! Forgeddit.. Cheers!
